Acupressure is a non-invasive form of touch therapy that promotes a holistic way for the body to heal. Acupressure utilizes the same theories and point selections as acupuncture, but does not involve the use of needles. By stimulating acupoints along the energetic pathways, or Meridians, I provide support for the body.

*Typical acupressure sessions take place where animals are the most comfortable. In-home sessions are best for cats and dogs who suffer from anxiety, or have mobility difficulties. During warmer months, outdoor sessions can be an option, depending on the individual.

*Please note: Proof of rabies vaccination is required by law (or a note from your veterinarian if there is a reason your pet cannot be vaccinated).

Kinesiology Tape is a flexible athletic tape that can be used to improve circulation and function. It adheres to skin or short hair, but does not restrict motion. Kinesiology tape can be used to reduce pain, improve circulation in the body, support muscles and joints, and increase proprioception (the ability to sense self-movement and body position). Kinesiology Tape works well individually or complimentary to other therapies.

*Please note: K-tape will not adhere to long hair and may require shaving in order for it to stay on an animal. This is a great option for animals healing after a surgery where shaving has already occurred to perform the procedure.

Each visit is customized to the needs of the individual client and their pets. Currently new clients are accepted on a case by case basis. If I am not able to take on a client, I am more than happy to recommend another pet sitter when possible.
